Everyday AI: A Gentle On-Ramp for the AI-Curious
You don't need to be technical to benefit from AI. Here's a low-pressure path for people who want to adopt AI into daily life — one habit at a time.

If 'adopt AI' sounds exhausting, good — you're my favorite kind of reader. This isn't about becoming an expert. It's about one small habit that quietly changes your week.
Start with a decision, not a tool
Pick one recurring decision that drains you — what to cook, how to phrase a tricky email, what to do this weekend. Let AI be your thinking partner for just that one thing.
- Ask it to draft the email you keep avoiding.
- Ask it to turn your fridge contents into three dinners.
- Ask it to summarize a long article you'd never finish.
The 5-minute rule
If a task with AI takes longer than 5 minutes to set up, stop. You're overcomplicating it. Come back tomorrow with a smaller ask.
Keep it human
AI is a sounding board, not an oracle. Use it to think out loud, then trust your own judgment for the final call. That balance — curious but discerning — is the whole skill.
Do this for a month and you won't feel like you 'adopted AI.' You'll just notice your week got a little lighter, and a little more yours.
