Building AI Habits That Actually Stick
Willpower isn't a strategy. If you want AI to become part of how you work, design the habit so it survives a busy week.

The gap between 'I should use AI more' and 'I use AI daily' isn't motivation. It's design. Habits stick when they're tiny, obvious, and attached to something you already do.
Anchor, don't add
Don't carve out a new 'AI time.' Attach it to an existing ritual: your morning coffee, your commute, your end-of-day review. The anchor does the remembering for you.
- Coffee prompt: one question for the day ahead.
- Commute prompt: summarize a podcast or article.
- Shutdown prompt: what did I learn, what will I try tomorrow?
The two-day rule
Never skip two days in a row. One missed day is life; two is a new habit of not doing it.
Design the habit small, anchor it tight, and protect it on hard days. In six weeks, AI stops being a project and starts being how you think.
